Hi People!

I cannot believe it is Saturday!  The days have gone by quickly!

Thursday, the 10th, we did our reviews as usual in class.  We played a matching game of the Gospel writers.  We also had 4 students come up to read the Christmas story. After the 4th one got up in front and did not know what the sign or meaning for the word circumcise, we had the evangelists and Pastor Bud come to our class to explain it to the students.  Yep, it was a hot topic of the afternoon.  They now know what circumcise is and that Jesus was circumcised to fulfill the law of the Jews.  After Jesus died and arose, circumcision is not done any more.  Baptism is the new promise for both male and female.

We had a scary fish dinner. Mine included the whole fish.  I even saw its tiny teeth.  Yikes!  It was serve with yams (white potatoes),
green sauce and cooked plantains. It was ok. One student wanted to have my half eaten fish, so I gave it to him.  He ate all; yes all of it including the bones, teeth, eyes, etc.  Ewww.  After dinner we went outside and had the Deaf Ghanaian students pick 3 stories from any part of the Bible to do skits.  It was amazing how they put everything
together and performed each skit.  We are planning to do these skits the last day of class.  I am looking forward to their performance.  : )  Linda and I taught them how to play the Elephant game.  They just loved the game and wanted to play again tomorrow.  I guess we will do that.

Friday, the 11th we went more deep into the Gospel.  We covered a lot of things.  Linda and I noticed that the students looked up the index if they need to find something without asking us! Praise the Lord!  They are smart kids and really want to learn His Word. : )

We are real proud of them. They are only between 15 to 20 years old and imagine them sitting in class all day and all evening learning.
Oh yes, we made sure we have recess.

After dinner, we went outside and play.  We played the Elephant game, played basketball, social, etc.  It was a fun night.

Today, Saturday, the 12th,  Linda and I slept in while Pastor Bud had a meeting with the evangelists.  We were suppose to do our laundry, but Amadu's daughters did the laundry for us.  They are very sweet girls.  We went into the city to get some things.  Boy, the traffic was crazy!  You got to watch out for the cars!  We went out to eat afterwards.  It was a fun and relaxing day.

Tomorrow is church day and I am looking forward to it!

Good Night!
