Thank you everyone for praying for pastor palmer.  He is feeling better today.  Slept for a while - but is feeling better.  He went to bed early again and is hoping to be back to close to normal tomorrow.

Thank you all for the birthday greetings!  I am reading some more today.  It takes forever to load so I am writing and waiting.  I am limited to only one hour and can only read @15 to 20 emails in an hour.

I am sure it is because of the harmatton - the dust.  They talk about it in the paper everyone is saying how bad it is this year.  They normally are less in Jan, but this year it got worse. Some of the deaf are talking they think we will need to stay until March because the airlines will not fly - smile.

We have a new cook this trip - I think she is better.  We had dried fish today and it tasted much better.  We ate the tails and the deaf wanted us to eat the heads - maybe tomorrow.  They said we need to teach people from America how to eat fish - all of it - it makes strong bones.

We saw a truck the fitter found for us today - it was a sturdy truck and that is what we need.  But the price is high.  We will start to bargain and hope to get it down.  If not - then we pray God as another vehicle for us.

Had a great day in class today!  We practiced on their study, sermon, and Bible study preparation.  Especially the new evangelists in training said this was a lot of work - smile.  But the 'old guys' did a great job of coaching and encouraging.

Came to the age-old discussion again of repenting - not sorrow - but needing to change or do something before God will forgive you.  That is what some of the 'other' churches are teaching.  Putting those good works in front of the Grace - no no no!!!

Tomorrow we go get Ted and Denise from the school.  I am waiting to see all of their stories.  I am sure they will have a book to send.  Please pray for a safe trip home.

God bless you and thank you for all your prayers!!
