Update

We are proud owners of  a truck!
God blessed us with a good price and the fitter (mechanic) said it is a strong truck and we got a good deal.  We are afraid a little of this BIG step, but we prayed and God worked everything together.  We will need to gather a few more dollars ($6000) to help pay for it.   But God has been guiding this whole project and we trust He will bring it to completion - THANK YOU LORD!

We also had a fun meal tonight to celebrate – smile.
We had bonku – if any of you know what silage is – you make it in the fall on the farm for the cows – that is what is smells like.    It was OK.  The Deaf really loved it.
With that we had okra soup – in the past this has tasted very very bad – but our cook this time did a good job (Bud still did not like it).
Plus we had a much requested addition – WALE.
No this is not whale – that would be good too.
Wale is cow skin – it is fried and then cooked witht the okra soup- yum - ??
All the Ghanaians thought it was faboulous.
I think we need to eat a few more things in America.
I will ask my wife – smile.

Tomorrow we go bring Ted and Dennis back from Jamasi.
I am praying God is blessing their time.

We also have our party tmw night. Some of our leaders need to work on Friday night.  No kitty cat this time – we will have goat with Fufu.  All of the people love this.  We plan to have a fun time talking and sharing about what they would like to do in the future.

I am impressed again, we had two more leaders invite people to join us.  What a great time.  We finished at 8:30 so they can arrive home before the ‘robbers’ come out – yes, that is the reason.  But they wanted to stay until Midnight!   I told them I would need to go in the bedroom and change into my other arms so I can sign longer – smile.
Normally we do not have class on the last Friday night, but they want to, so we will!

Saturday we meet with the Evangelists, Sunday Worship, then back to Accra.
Monday AM go to the village, Adomrobe, then last minute stops.
Tuesday morning meet at the ELCG office, then prepare to fly out to see our families!

Thank you for all your emails and prayers for us!
I pray God will continue to bless His people here and in your area!

Serving Him Together,

Pastor Reinke
