Mission
Grant Guidelines
Grant requests may be made by individuals on behalf of
an LCMS congregation or mission organization serving the Deaf.
What kind of
needs will be considered?
LDMS will consider grant requests only for projects
which serve Gospel outreach to or by Deaf people. Projects may include training events,
equipment, or one-time building needs.
Priority consideration will be giving to projects
which train Deaf people for ministry.
LDMS will
NOT consider grant requests for
ongoing or recurring expenses for prolonged projects (e.g.
salaries, rent, ongoing transportation costs, supplies, etc.).

Reporting
Requirements:
1.
Each time you
receive grant funds from LDMS, please report your receipt of those funds to the
LDMS Executive Director.
2.
At the end of
your grant period you must send a report on how you
used the grant, the number of people involved and the number of deaf/hard of
hearing people impacted. Send your final report to the LDMS Executive Director.
3.
Recipients of
multi-year grants must send a report each year, describing how you used the
grant, number of people involved and number of deaf/hard of hearing people
impacted. Send your annual report the
LDMS Executive Director.
